Description

This course satisfies the NJ State Licensing Requirement for 2 hours of training in the Americans with Disabilities Act for Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith Licensees.  The course explains the purpose of the code and its relationship to other standards such as NJ Barrier Free Sub-code  as well as the responsibility of the Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith contractor relative to all these requirements as an employer and contractor.

Applicable In

Who Should Take It

All licensees, Anyone with responsibility for managing or supervising installation or service work or involved with management of employees and compliance  should also take this course.  This course has been updated to reflect changes in the Law.

Overview of ADA requirements for the burglar alarm, fire alarm and locksmith trades, What qualifies as a disability, what is a reasonable accommodation, Enforcement, disputes , tax incentives and more
